Pinchuk summoned for questioning to Prosecutor General's Office

Ukrainian businessman, billionaire and philanthropist Victor Pinchuk, a son-in-law of former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, has been summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) at 11:00 on August 27.
A respective summons has been published on the PGO's website.
"Victor Mykhailovych Pinchuk, in accordance with the requirements of Articles 133, 135 [of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine], you need to arrive on August 27, 2019, at 11:00 to the special investigations department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine at the address: Kyiv, 18 Borysohlibska Street, Room 322 (phone: 200 7136) for procedural acts with your participation as a witness in criminal proceeding No. 42016000000002148 of August 19, 2016," the summons reads.
According to media reports, Pinchuk's interrogation is related to the investigation into the "shadow costs" of the Party of Regions.
