Consul General Haman: Ukraine grateful to Turkey for consistent support

Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Oleksandr Haman at a meeting with Mayor of Beyoğlu Municipality Haydar Ali Yildiz expressed his gratitude to Turkey for consistent support to Ukraine.

"Oleksandr Haman thanked the Mayor of Beyoğlu Municipality for Turkey’s traditional support to Ukraine and stressed that the Republic of Turkey, which is a strategic partner of our country, has been consistently advocating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine since 2014. This support is extremely important to us at a time when Ukraine is at war with Russia," the press service of the Consulate General reports.

In turn, Haydar Ali Yildiz expressed his support for Ukraine and confirmed the interest in the implementation of joint projects.

The parties also discussed the issues of Ukraine-Turkey cooperation in different areas and outlined the plans for the implementation of a number of joint cultural and regional projects in the near future.
