Lukashenko to visit Ukraine at invitation of Zelensky - ambassador

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will attend the second Forum of Regions of Ukraine and Belarus, which will be held in Zhytomyr this autumn.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol stated this, BelTA reported.
"We received a number of positive signals from the elected President of Ukraine, as you know, Volodymyr Zelensky invited Alexander Lukashenko to the Forum of Regions to Zhytomyr, and our president confirmed his participation," he said.
According to Sokol, this event will be one of the most important events in bilateral relations.
The ambassador also called positive the trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Belarus.
As reported, the Second Forum of Regions of Ukraine and Belarus is scheduled for October 2019 in Zhytomyr.
