Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of North Macedonia Natalia Zadorozhniuk and Foreign Affairs Minister of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov signed the visa waiver agreement between the two countries.

“Today, Ambassador Natalia Zadorozhniuk on behalf of the Government of Ukraine signed with Foreign Affairs Minister of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov an extremely important intergovernmental visa waiver agreement. It will be effective on a permanent basis and now there is no need to prolong the existing agreement every year. We keep working!” the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of North Macedonia reports.

The agreement allows holders of biometric passports of the two countries to enter, transit or stay for 90 days in a 180-day period, the Yevropeiska Pravda reports.

"The agreement is expected to contribute to further intensification of cooperation, especially in the economic field, through the promotion of business relations and contacts between the two countries, as well as the development of tourism," the Foreign Affairs Minister of North Macedonia said.
