Parubiy: VR of 8th convocation approves 987 laws and codes

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy has summarized the achievements of the parliament of the eighth convocation.
"The Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation conducted 580 plenary meetings, adopted 2,734 legislative acts, including 987 laws and codes in general. Also, the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation held 35 parliamentary hearings," Andriy Parubiy stated during the solemn closing meeting of the tenth session of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The speaker stressed that MPs were really efficient as they approved many important laws.
