Kyiv mayor thanks NATO PA president for supporting Ukraine in fight against Russian aggression

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has held a meeting with President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Madeleine Moon, according to the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
"I sincerely thank you for your work, for the support provided to our country. For Ukraine, the assistance of our friends - all who want to see our state independent, democratic and European - is very important. Ukraine is resisting the aggression of Russia that by cynically disregarding international law, acts with impunity and continues to destroy the European security system. This can’t be ignored. We must prevent the lifting or mitigation of sanctions against Russia,” said Klitschko.
He stressed that despite all the encroachments of Russia, Ukraine should continue to move to Europe and NATO.
Head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Oksana Yurinets also participated in the meeting.
