European Commission reveals expectations from Juncker’s first meeting with Zelensky

The European Commission confirms that the meeting of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker will take place in Brussels on Tuesday.
“This will be the first meeting with the new President of Ukraine, and we very much look forward to this meeting. This will be an opportunity to maintain a very good level of relations that we had with Ukraine also under president Poroshenko. We have a wide range of issues of cooperation, in particular in politics, economy, society development. We have a target mission, which helps Ukraine in carrying out structural reforms. Therefore, we have a lot of questions for joint discussion,” Chief Spokesperson of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas said at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He noted that journalists would receive information about the meeting between Zelensky and Juncker via “regular channels.”
