President Poroshenko appoints new ambassador to Egypt

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Yevhen Mykytenko as Ambassador of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
This is stipulated in the relevant president’s decree, No.121/2019, the press service of the head of state reported.
"To appoint Yevhen Mykytenko as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Arab Republic of Egypt,” reads the document.
Prior to his new appointment, Yevhen Mykytenko was Ukraine's Ambassador to Qatar. He speaks Arabic and English.
