Ukrainian government must finally implement reforms required by people – U.S. Embassy

Five years ago, EuroMaidan protesters succeeded in expelling a corrupt government, but corruption still remains a pressing issue for Ukraine in achieving economic and political progress, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has reported.
"Five years ago today, EuroMaidan protesters succeeded in expelling a corrupt government. Yet, corruption remains a pressing problem holding the Ukrainian people back from achieving the economic and political progress they deserve," the embassy wrote on Twitter.
The Ukrainian government must follow through on the reforms that the people of Ukraine have demanded, the U.S. Embassy stressed.
