The signing of the Association Agreements and the Comprehensive Free Trade Area, as well as the visa liberalization, are among the main achievements of the European Union in relations to Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said this at a joint press conference with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Meleşcanu in Bucharest, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“We have achieved so much with all of our Eastern partners, that, again, looking back even a few years' time, not to mention ten [years], some things would have been completely impossible to believe at the time. We have managed to achieve the three main objectives, including the signing of the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), as well as the visa liberalisation with Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia,” Mogherini said.

In turn, the Romanian minister stressed that his country during the presidency of the EU would do everything possible to deepen economic and political interaction with the Eastern Partnership states.
