Ukrinform
If the presidential election in Ukraine were held today, presidential candidates Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko would win through to the second round, according to a survey conducted by the Socis Social and Marketing Research Center, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and the Razumkov Center on January 16-29, 2019.

In particular, the survey shows that Zelensky would receive the greatest support of the population among those who will vote and have already decided on their choice - 23%. Only 16.4% are ready to vote for Poroshenko, and 15.7% of respondents are ready to cast their ballots in support of Tymoshenko. However, about 23% of voters are undecided.

During the study, respondents were also asked to make their own forecasts on who will become the next president of Ukraine regardless of who they are going to vote for.

Respondents consider Poroshenko to be the most likely winner in the presidential election - 20.5%. Tymoshenko's victory was predicted by 19.9% of respondents, and 10.8% think that Zelensky will be Ukraine's next president.

A significant part of those polled (36.4%) could not predict who will be the next head of state.

A total of 11,000 respondents aged over 18 years from all regions of Ukraine (excluding the population of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) were interviewed. The poll's margin of error is 0.9%.
