Israeli ambassador refutes information about supply of rifles to Ukraine

Israel does not supply rifles to Ukraine, and some Ukrainian enterprises for the production of rifles are licensed by Israeli companies.
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Joel Lion said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“We do not supply rifles to Ukraine,” he said.
The ambassador added that it was fake information on the supply of rifles by Israel.
“Ukrainian enterprises produce high-quality rifles, some of them are licensed by Israeli companies, but we do not supply rifles to Ukraine,” Lion said.
Answering a question about the possible deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Israel in the defense sector, the ambassador noted that media outlets were not the place to discuss defense and military issues.
