Medium-term planning to promote economic development – Groysman

“We must ensure financial stability. Medium-term planning will allow us to expand the planning horizon for all, including local budgets," he said at a government meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Groysman, the government this year will focus on the development of education and healthcare, energy efficiency and energy independence. "I think it will be a record year for the construction of Ukrainian roads, we will implement a number of other programs, including in various sectors of the economy, support for the agricultural sector and farming," he added.

The prime minister reminded that the law on medium-term budget planning was approved by the Verkhovna Rada and already signed by President Petro Poroshenko. The adopted law will make it possible to plan the country's life for three years with corresponding macroeconomic indicators, projects and tasks.
