Inter-faction union ‘Opposition Platform – For Life’ created in Verkhovna Rada

Speaker Andriy Parubiy stated this during a parliament's sitting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"According to Ukraine's Law No.60 'On the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine', I announce about creation of the inter-faction deputies' union 'Opposition Platform - For Life' in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. MPs Yuriy Boyko and Vadym Rabinovych have been elected co-chairpersons of the union,” said the speaker.

At the same time, Parubiy stressed that this is an inter-faction union, not a deputies' group.

As Ukrinform reported, members of the political party Opposition Bloc Yuriy Boyko and Serhiy Lyovochkin were expelled from the parliamentary Opposition Bloc faction on November 20.
