Ukraine and Indonesia will cooperate in countering cyber threats and terrorism.

Head of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Knyazev discussed this issue during a meeting with Chief of the Indonesian National Police Muhammad Tito Karnavian on November 20, the press service of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine reported.

“National Police Chief Serhiy Knyazev noted that during the meeting Ukraine and Indonesia had agreed to deepen cooperation in the areas of countering cybercrime, terrorist threats and drug trafficking,” reads a report.

In turn, the chief of the Indonesian National Police stressed that Indonesia was interested in Ukrainian experience in the fight against cyber attacks.

The parties agreed to sign an agreement in order to communicate within the legal framework and transfer cases under investigation to the court.
