China sees Ukraine as strategic partner in over 70 projects - Iryna Lutsenko

The Ukrainian president's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, MP Iryna Lutsenko, said this at the Third Ukrainian Silk Road Forum in Kyiv on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"China's experience is very useful for Ukraine, because the PRC is our reliable partner and links with Ukraine a lot of promising paths and plans for both countries. China views our state as a strategic partner in more than 70 projects today. I hope that the number of such projects will be even greater in 2019," Lutsenko said. 

She added that the issue concerned cooperation in the space, energy, infrastructure, and agricultural spheres.

"China is interested in infrastructure projects that will unite ports of northern and southern Europe. China views Ukraine as a gateway to Europe and it is important to us. We are ready to cooperate in this area," Lutsenko said.

She added that China is a powerful partner of Ukraine.
