The world community must tighten sanctions against Russia after it supported fake "elections" in pseudo-republics in Donbas scheduled for November 11.
Iryna Gerashchenko, the first deputy chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada and Ukraine's representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the TCG, wrote this on Facebook following a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group and its working subgroups in Minsk today.
“It was a very difficult meeting in Minsk today. Unfortunately, the Russian Federation gave a mandate to its puppets for destabilization actions in security and politics. The world is obliged to harshly react to such actions. It should not express concern but tighten sanctions," Gerashchenko said.
The MP stressed that the Russian Federation in Minsk "frankly announced" the holding of "elections" in ORDLO and the recognition of their results.
