Poroshenko visits Military Medical Clinical Center of Western Region

The President got acquainted with the work of the rehabilitation treatment department and the work of the center in general.

"I am glad that our fighters are full of strength and optimism, which, according to doctors, is the main guarantee of the earliest recovery after wounds," said Poroshenko.

The President also thanked the medical staff for taking care of Ukrainian soldiers and the servicepersons for defending the country.

Also, among the tasks of the MMCC of the Western Region is the organization and management of medical support in the Joint Forces Operation area in Donbas and other types of daily activities of military medical personnel.

Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 12,898 injured and wounded servicepersons have undergone treatment at medical establishments of the Western region.
