Ukrainian Ambassador Lytvyn presents credentials to Armenian president

Ukraine's Ambassador to Armenia Petro Lytvyn on September 13 presented credentials to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Armenia has said. 

"During their conversation, Lytvyn and Sarkissian noted the centuries-old traditionally friendly relations between the Ukrainian and Armenian peoples and discussed bilateral relations, including the prospects for economic and humanitarian cooperation," reads the statement.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on September 19 issued a decree appointing Lytvyn Ukraine's ambassador to Armenia.
