Groysman: Financing of education sector grew to UAH 222 bln in 2018

The government has increased financing of the education sector from UAH 129 billion in 2016 to UAH 222 billion in 2018.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote this on his Facebook page.
"We have been thoroughly developing these changes for a long period of time: financing of the education sector has grown from UAH 129 billion in 2016 to UAH 222 billion this year. Although not everything is perfect, but I really believe in the success of the reform," Groysman said.
He also added that this year there will be by 40,000 more first-graders in Ukraine than in 2017.
