Trump’s Advisor John Bolton to visit Ukraine next week

President Donald Trump's National Security Adviser John Bolton plans to visit Ukraine next week as part of his tour to Europe and the Middle East.

White House Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated this during a briefing on Tuesday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Next week, Advisor John Bolton will hold meetings with government officials in Israel and Ukraine, as well as with his Russian counterpart in Geneva at the summit in Helsinki, to discuss a number of issues important for national security," the official representative of the U.S. presidential administration said.

John Bolton is expected to hold meetings in Kyiv at the highest level.

In turn, Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly clarified that Advisor John Bolton intended to take part in the parade on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24.
