PPB to support proposal to consolidate in Constitution the course on joining NATO and EU

The parliamentary faction of Petro Poroshenko Bloc will support in the Verkhovna Rada the proposal of the President of Ukraine to consolidate in the Constitution the course of Ukraine on joining NATO and gaining membership in the European Union.
Head of PPB Faction Artur Herasymov stated this at a meeting of the Agenda-Setting Council in Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The faction of Petro Poroshenko Bloc will support the proposal of the President of Ukraine regarding the consolidation of the course of our state for membership in the EU and NATO," Herasymov said.
As Ukrinform reported, President Petro Poroshenko on June 28 said that he would soon submit to the Verkhovna Rada the amendments to the Constitution so that to consolidate Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO and the EU.
