Gerashchenko calls on OSCE coordinator in TCG to visit Ukrainian prisoners in ORDLO and Russia

Ukraine’s representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Iryna Gerashchenko, has officially requested OSCE Coordinator in the humanitarian group Toni Frisch to visit prisons in the occupied territories.
"I have officially appealed to OSCE Coordinator in the humanitarian group Toni Frisch with a request to visit immediately the prisons in the occupied territories and to visit all our soldiers, civilians, including journalist Stanislav Aseev, who for years remain without the right to communications and calls. I will insist on this," Gerashchenko wrote on Facebook.
She informs that the Ukrainian side insists that the International Committee of the Red Cross immediately gets access to the prisons in ORDLO and Russia and to Ukrainian political prisoners.
"We insisted on including this norm in the statement of the humanitarian group, but Russia adamantly opposed to this," Gerashchenko stated.
