Klimkin in New York to take part in UN Security Council briefing on settlement of situation in Donbas

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin is on a visit to New York in order to participate in a briefing of the UN Security Council regarding the situation that has arisen as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the ways to resolve the conflict.
This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
"The minister's participation in the meeting will be another opportunity to draw attention of the members of the Security Council and the international community to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and violations of the international humanitarian law and human rights by the Russian Federation," the statement reads.
The event will be held under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz.
A number of meetings of the Ukrainian foreign minister with foreign partners and the UN leadership will be held in New York.
