Poroshenko, Erdogan discuss further cooperation

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
This is reported by the press service of the Head of State.
"The leaders of the two countries exchanged views on the topical issues of bilateral and international agenda. The parties stressed the importance of speeding up the negotiation process to conclude a free trade agreement between Ukraine and Turkey," the statement reads.
They also discussed the ways to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in energy, aviation and defense fields.
The President of Ukraine thanked the President of Turkey for his unwavering stance in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and protection of the rights of the Crimean Tatars.
