Ukrinform
An official meeting between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Slovenian counterpart, Borut Pahor, has taken place in Kyiv.

The meeting ceremony was held on the square outside the building of Ukraine's Presidential Administration, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Earlier, the Presidential Administration noted that the presidents would discuss joint efforts to counter Russian aggression and exchange views on a wide range of topical issues of bilateral and international cooperation, including in the context of further support by Slovenia of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

The sides intend to sign a number of bilateral documents after the meeting.

The leaders of the states will meet with the media after the talks.

Pahor's visit is his first visit to Ukraine after his reelection as Slovenian president in November 2017.
