Hungarian Foreign Minister: Ukraine-NATO Commission meeting depends only on Kyiv
He said this in Brussels on Friday, answering the questions of Ukrainian journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I told the Secretary General that the Ukraine-NATO meeting at the summit depended only on Ukraine," the Hungarian foreign minister said.
As reported, the foreign ministers of the NATO member states will discuss the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine on Friday.
At the same time, Hungary has blocked the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the ministerial level for the third time already because of the discontent with the language article of the Ukrainian law on education.
In February, Budapest blocked the second NATO ministerial meeting. The Hungarian government explained that in such a way it put pressure on Ukraine, demanding to revise the language article of the education law.
