Ukraine, Britain to expand cooperation - Klimkin

Ukrinform
Ukraine has agreed with Britain to expand bilateral cooperation in several areas.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said this after a meeting with UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

"We managed to discuss that we will expand our cooperation in strategic areas and other issues," Klimkin said.

He added that he had also discussed the possibility of accommodating in Ukraine British diplomats expelled from Russia.

"I spoke with Boris on this topic, but we have yet to agree the details of how it is best done and on how many people," Klimkin said.

As reported, last month Klimkin proposed employing in Ukraine 23 British diplomats expelled by Russia from the country.
