Poroshenko: Ukraine to impose sanctions on Deripaska, other Russian oligarchs

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the Security Service of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to prepare a draft decision on new sanctions against the Russian Federation.
As the Head of State posted on Facebook, "the sanctions will be introduced and will be harmonized with the decision of the U.S. government. Deripaska and other Russian oligarchs, who, in particular, are rather active in Crimea or supply arms to the Russian armed forces, will be put on the sanctions list."
As reported, during a visit to Germany, Petro Poroshenko said at a joint briefing with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine would prepare a draft decision on imposing sanctions against Russian oligarchs in the coming days.
