Ukraine starts to issue e-visas for citizens of 46 countries

April 4, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine starts to issue the electronic visas for entry to Ukraine for citizens of 46 countries.

 "The reforms are ongoing. We bring Ukraine even closer to the world. Today, we launch the Electronic Visa Service. The citizens of 46 countries can now apply for a visa to Ukraine without leaving home," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote on Twitter.

According to the consular service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the simplified process of obtaining an electronic visa, which simultaneously allows for effective migration control, has been elaborated.

"To apply for an e-visa, you need to take several simple steps without leaving your home: fill out the online form, upload scanned copies of the necessary documents, make a payment with a bank card (MasterCard Worldwide or Visa International payment systems) and print out an e-visa which is sent for your e-mail," the consular service explains.

An e-visa processing time is up to 9 working days, the fee is $65, and the term of validity is a single entry for up to 30 days.

E-visas are introduced for citizens of the following states: Australia, Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Bolivia, Bhutan, Vanuatu, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Greenland, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Cambodia, Qatar, Costa Rica, Kuwait, Laos, Mauritius, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Oman, Palau, Peru, El Salvador, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Fiji, Jamaica.
