There can be no autonomy in Zakarpattia region - Foreign Ministry

There can be no autonomy for Hungarians in Ukraine's Zakarpattia region, Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar has reported on his Facebook page.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Ambassador does not understand clear, repeated and extremely formal explanations that there can be no autonomy in Zakarpattia region by definition, in the same way as our constructive suggestions regarding the language of education remain unanswered. Parallel reality," Bodnar wrote.
Earlier, Hungarian Ambassador to Ukraine Erno Keskeny stated that Budapest saw nothing bad in autonomy for Hungarians living in Zakarpattia region, but, given the war in eastern Ukraine, this is not going to happen now.
