This is said in a statement published on the official website of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs of Ukraine.

"The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine has called on Crimean residents not to participate in the illegal presidential election of the Russian Federation in the territory of the peninsula, not to support the illegal election and to refrain from any actions or steps to participate in the presidential election in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol," the statement reads.

According to the report, the international community recognized the occupation and annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol as illegal and condemned the actions of the Russian Federation.
