SBU wants to add Rossotrudnichestvo to sanctions list

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has said that it has repeatedly submitted letters to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) with the request to include Rossotrudnichestvo in the sanctions list.
Deputy SBU Chief Viktor Kononenko said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Regarding Rossotrudnichestvo, the Security Service of Ukraine also has claims to this organization. We have repeatedly filed a petition to the National Security and Defense Council to add this structure to the sanction list, "Kononenko said.
He specified that these letters to the NSDC had been repeatedly filed in 2016-2017 and "the letters were left without consideration, we did not have any answer."
"I personally discussed the situation with [NSDC Secretary] Oleksandr Valentynovych Turchynov, and we agreed that we will form a joint group that will deal with this issue," he said.
