On January 18, the Ukrainian side plans to exchange update information and new lists of hostages with the so-called "LPR / DPR" [Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics].

Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeriya Lutkovska said this in an interview with 112.ua portal.

"Now very important and necessary work is being carried out, when each side again updates its lists. We will meet on January 18 and exchange update information and new lists. After that, negotiations on the next stage will begin," she said.

Lutkovska hopes that the next stage of the liberation will take place in a short time, since there are no questions on how to confirm certain legal facts that occurred on the uncontrolled territory, as well as the territory controlled by Ukraine.

As reported, a large-scale exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and the militants of the terrorist organizations “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic” took place on the demarcation line in Donetsk region on December 27. A total of 73 people were transferred to the government-controlled territory, while 233 supporters of militants went to the temporarily occupied territory.
