Mingarelli: EU committed to supporting full implementation of Minsk agreements

Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli said this in a commentary to journalists in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Other options are unknown to me so far. Therefore we are committed to supporting the full implementation of the Minsk agreements," Mingarelli said, commenting on the statement by Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov regarding the need for new accords.

The European diplomat also reminded about the work of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, which will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, and the Normandy format activities.

"We will continue to provide support for the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, although we understand the frustration associated with the lack of significant progress, which is really the case," he said.
