Poroshenko calls for consideration of bill on simplifying privatization process – Iryna Lutsenko

President Petro Poroshenko insists that a bill on simplifying the procedure of privatization be considered by the Verkhovna Rada as soon as possible.
Iryna Lutsenko, the president’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, said this at a meeting of the Agenda-Setting Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The president insists on this bill be adopted, since only ten companies from the top 100 large state enterprises in 2016 generated a net profit totaling 35 million, while all the other 90 companies generated losses. These are figures that speak for themselves," Lutsenko emphasized.
At the same time, she reminded that this bill No.4773 was supported by the National Council of Reforms.
"It provides an opportunity to simplify the procedure of privatization and divide privatization into large and small", the president’s representative stressed.
