Poroshenko calls to accelerate process of formation of united territorial communities

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko considers it necessary to accelerate the process of formation of the united territorial communities in 2018.
He stated this while speaking at a meeting of the Regional Development Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We need to radically change in 2018 the system of organization of local self-government in the country in order to accelerate the process of formation of the united territorial communities," Poroshenko noted.
At the same time, he stresses that it is necessary to change the system of local self-government built in the Soviet times to improve the situation in the areas of health, ensuring people's rights, education, in particular in villages.
