Ukraine, Moldova may create joint regional development strategy

"Our region has great potential for social and economic development, but for its full-fledged use the efforts of Moldova and Ukraine should be united, especially since both states signed the Association Agreement with the EU, and Ukraine became a reliable partner and mediator in the negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement process in the 5+2 format," Bucataru noted.

Program director at the Association for Foreign Policy, Natalia Sterkul, expressed the same opinion, stressing that for the implementation of major regional social and economic projects it is necessary to use the experience of cooperation with European partners accumulated by both countries.
