Maryna Poroshenko, Edgar Preca discuss hybrid war against Ukraine

"Maryna met with the husband of the President of the Republic of Malta, Mr. Edgar Preca, who is in Kyiv within the framework of the state visit of the Head of the Maltese state to Ukraine," Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

The sides discussed issues of European security in the context of a hybrid war against Ukraine.

In particular, Maryna Poroshenko and Edgar Preca focused on the importance of unity in Europe, which will allow confronting the threats of democracy and state sovereignty on the continent.

"I am grateful to the Maltese side for supporting Ukraine as a reliable partner of the European Union," the Ukrainian President stressed.

As Ukrinform reported, President of the Republic of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Pre was on a state visit to Ukraine on Tuesday.
