Chubarov calls on Ukrainian authorities to do everything possible to release 48 political prisoners of Crimea

Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov calls on the Ukrainian authorities to do everything possible to release 48 political prisoners illegally condemned by Russia.
He said this during a speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"There are Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, Russians and people of other nationalities among 48 political prisoners... I want that the Government, the President, and we all do everything to unite with these courageous people [political prisoners] as soon as possible," Chubarov said.
He added that the Ukrainian MPs, the Ukrainian state and the Ukrainian people must make every effort to return Crimea.
