EU should think about better ties with Russia - Juncker

The European Union wants to maintain better relations with Russia, but this may depend on Russia itself, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has said.
He stated this in Brussels on Tuesday at an annual conference of ambassadors representing 140 EU delegations in the world, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I believe we should reflect on better relations with Russia. It depends on Russia, it depends on us," Juncker said.
At the same time, he said that relations with Russia could develop "without renouncing our values and principles [such as] the annexation of Crimea and the rest."
