PM Groysman: Parliament in September should vote for pension reform

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman expects that the Verkhovna Rada in September will approve a draft law on pension reform.

The prime minister stated this at a government meeting on August 23, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We’ve launched the pension system reform, and we should bring this reform to its logical completion... I hope we will be able to solve this issue together in September,” Groysman said.

At the same time, he assured that after passing the relevant law in the Verkhovna Rada, pensions will be raised for nine million Ukrainian pensioners.
