No Ukrainians killed or injured due to earthquake in Italy – Foreign Ministry

According to preliminary data, there are no citizens of Ukraine among victims as a result of an earthquake in Italy.

This is reported by the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine on Twitter with a reference to the consul in Naples.

"The consul in Naples informs that according to preliminary data, Ukrainians are not among those killed or injured due to the earthquake," reads a statement.

As reported, the earthquake hit the tourist-packed Italian holiday island of Ischia on Monday night, collapsing buildings, killing at least two people and injuring at least 39, officials said.
