Contact Group subgroups on Donbas meet in Minsk

Another meeting of the working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbas has begun in the Belarusian capital, Minsk, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry has reported on its Twitter page.
"A meeting of the working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine is being held in Minsk," reads the report.
Earlier reports said that at today's meeting the Ukrainian side would again insist on the immediate release of illegally held hostages and "is ready for a compromise" in this issue. In addition, Kyiv will demand that Russia and the OSCE react to the facts of torture of hostages and concealment of information about their detention, according to Iryna Herashchenko, Ukraine's representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group.
