Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that the visit by a Ukrainian government delegation to the United Kingdom was effective.

He told this to reporters in London on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I think that we have positive results of this trip. We plan to deepen cooperation with Britain, and as part of the conference on reforms in Ukraine we have made the world more united around events and reforms in our state," Groysman said.

According to him, delegation representatives again made sure in London that the world was positively evaluating changes in Ukraine.

"I have heard a lot from international colleagues that no one has done what Ukraine did in three years under such very difficult conditions. We stabilized the situation in Ukraine, stopped the economic downturn, switched to growth, and we need to accelerate the reforms. I have no doubt about this," he said.

He recalled that during this visit he had met with British Prime Minister Theresa May and President of the EBRD Board of Directors Suma Chakrabarti. In addition, Groysman attended a meeting of the EBRD Board of Directors. "I think that after this meeting our opportunities will be much better," the head of government added.

In his opinion, the conference on reforms in Ukraine was very important. "The conference itself was held for the first time. We have achieved this goal for a long time so as to create a platform for assessing the situation in Ukraine and uniting the efforts of the international community to support the changes that are taking place in our country," he said.

The Ukrainian delegation consisted of 15 people. In particular, in addition to Groysman, it included Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Sayenko, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko, Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva, Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Vadym Chernysh, acting Health Minister Uliana Suprun, and other officials.
