Pavlo Kozyrev: Local government becoming more client-focused

Ukrinform
With the implementation of decentralization reforms in Ukraine, local government bodies have started to focus more on the quality of services they render.

Pavlo Kozyrev, Chairman of the Association of Small Cities of Ukraine, Mayor of Ukrainka, said this at a press conference in Ukrinform.

“With the implementation of decentralization reforms, I notice that more and more local government bodies in Ukraine are being reoriented from punishing someone for anything to rendering better services. This means to be client-focused,” Kozyrev said.

He also said that "where local government bodies have the right and opportunities to provide full services ..., people live well there."
