President Petro Poroshenko says that blocking the decision of the UN Security Council on establishment of the International Tribunal for the investigation into the terrorist attack on MH-17 flight Russia de-facto confirms its involvement in this crime.

President Poroshenko said this during a joint press conference with President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė in Kharkiv, the press service of the Head of State reported.

"Russia blocks the establishment of the tribunal, which is de-facto acknowledgement of guilt," Poroshenko said.

The Head of State expressed confidence that the annexation of Crimea and the illegal aggression in east of Ukraine carried out by the permanent member of the UN Security Council have made the post-war security mechanisms inefficient in the world.

The President added that any initiative on the establishment of the International Tribunal to investigate the terrorist attack on the MH-17 flight can be blocked in the UN Security Council.

Poroshenko noted that extremely important information was released recently directly confirming Russia’s participation in this terrorist attack.
