Ukraine takes necessary measures to protect energy independence - Groysman

The Ukrainian Government takes all necessary measures to protect energy independence of its own and its partner countries.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this during an Hour of Questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"I’d like to assure that Ukraine takes all political and legal measures to defend the national interests, including by coordinating our efforts with other international partners," he said.
According to him, the Government holds regular meetings in different formats on issues of energy independence.
"As a rule, they are closed, because they've got confidential information that is very important for our national security," the PM stressed.
