Poroshenko congratulates Ukrainians on Children's Day

"Children's Day is a wonderful occasion to remind once again that all children have equal rights to education, health care, recreation, freedom of opinion, conscience and religion," Poroshenko said.

The President has noted that these and other rights are guaranteed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is an integral part of the Ukrainian legislation.

Addressing the children, the Head of State says that they are the future of Ukraine, "our joy and inspiration in all endeavors".

Poroshenko wished the children to be healthy, honest, purposeful and persistent and to fulfill their dreams.
