President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek, the president’s press service reported on Tuesday evening.

In particular, President Poroshenko thanked three countries for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“The parties discussed the course of implementation of the Minsk agreements and developments in Donbas. They underscored the importance of compliance with the regime of the EU sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the undertaken obligations within the Minsk process and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity,” reads a report posted on the president’s official website.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs also stated they support the European integration aspirations of Ukraine. The parties welcomed the approval of a resolution by the European Parliament on the abolition of a visa regime for Ukrainians travelling to the EU.

In addition, special attention during the meeting was paid to the expansion of interaction within NATO and regional cooperation with the Visegrad Group that will be presided by Hungary starting from July 1.
